On Tuesday, January 26, 2010, the Guild held its second annual symposium for the DGA Award Nominees for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Reality Programs. Following an introduction by DGA President Taylor Hackford and a screening of clips from the nominated works, nominees Craig Borders (Build It Bigger Season 3: “Hong Kong Bridge”) Sueann Fincke (The Dog Whisperer with Cesar Millan: “Puppy Mills Exposed”), Eytan Keller (The Next Iron Chef: “201”), Zach Merck (Six Beers of Separation), and Bertram van Munster (The Amazing Race: “Don’t Let A Cheese Hit Me”) stepped to the podium for a brief discussion about their work.
